As I launched Investing with Isaiah, I wanted to make sure that as a token of gratitude, I gave a shout-out and thank you to some very important people in my life that made this and everything I am possible. This list is by no means exhaustive and if I don’t thank you personally in this post, but you’ve made an impact on my life, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
First to the readers of this blog – thank you so much for reading this. My goal is for this blog to be actionable and helpful in many ways. If there are topics you’d like me to write about please feel free to reach out. You can email me at Isaiah@fuerzaventures.com or schedule time on my calendar. It’s linked to my contact info in my LinkedIn.
Second to Cameron Brown – I’m so glad we got close in law school, you’ve been there to help me through some of my toughest times and have been by me for some of the best times of my life. I appreciate your friendship and for letting me be me.
Next to Marylou and Joseph – You both have been big parts of my life since forever. We’ve had so much fun together, but you also brought me onboard to help you realize your vision at The Seed Program. It’s a mission that’s near and dear to my heart and we’re only at the beginning of this amazing journey.
Next to my extended family – thank you for the love you’ve shown me and raising me as if I was your own son. It takes a village to raise kids sometimes and all of you were my village. I learned so much from each and every one of you.
Next to my best friend, Quincy Enunwa – my day 1! We’ve been boys for almost 25 years now and I’ll be forever grateful to you for everything you’ve done for me, you let this lover of football live out his own football dream vicariously through you and your football career. God works in mysterious ways and I am so glad he sent me you.
Next, to my Oma, Ana Deporto – the woman who raised me to always say please and thank you and to show respect for others. You raised me and I miss you dearly. Christmas is never the same without you and watching the Lakers will never be the same. You played a major role in shaping me into the person I am today.
Next, to my sister, Mariah – thank you for letting me learn how to be a big brother, through the good times and the bad times. We played together, cried together, laughed together, yelled at each other, but through it all you were there. I love you kid.
Lastly, to my Mom – thank you for being my mom and my dad, for sacrificing everything to give us the best life we could possibly have. You are my best friend, my role model, my confidant, my advisor and the reason I am the man I am today. Everything I do is to make you proud, because you gave and continue to give, everything for us.
I love you all – more than I’ll ever be able to tell you in words, but hopefully this is a good start. <3
